Woodshopbits.com, LLC was founded in 2008 by a woodworker himself. Believing that a better overall value could be delivered to the woodworker, our company pursued finding manufacturers than might not have the popular name recognition known to most woodworkers but who produced quality woodworking bits. In addition, our goal was to keep our overhead extremely low. To do this we didn't open any brick and mortar stores but relied purely on the Internet. Most of our products are shipped directly from the manufacturer to you to keep shipping and inventory costs low. One of our manufacturers, Southeast Tool is U.S. based in North Carolina. Their router bits have been ranked as extremely high quality and smooth cutting (see router bit review by Fine Woodworking). Again, they might not have the brand recognition, but their router bit quality speaks for itself.
Another supplier, ValueMax Tools, Inc. (brand name "Blue Tornado") had excellent manufacturing specifications and meets our company's goal of delivering a quality product at significant savings to the woodworker. Although their products are imported, read their manufacturing criteria by clicking on the "Extended Information" tab at this product link . Blue Tornado router bits and other products are quality including the wooden case offered with a majority of their items.
The "Woodshopbits" brand offers a limited choice of router bits for woodworkers but at a great savings! Woodshopbits.com researched a number of manufacturers before committing to having their own router bits produced. Carbide quality was upgraded and finishing techniques were studied. Our manufacturer, Dongya Group met our standards and has produced great router bits for the beginner, intermediate or professional woodworker.
