WSB router bits are manufactured in an ISO9001:2000 certified production facility which specifies the requirements for quality management of the process (see ISO details below). This international standard requires producers to meet consistent quality controls and conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements. High-quality ISO Grade K10 micro-grain carbide (YG6X carbide: HRA92) is used in all our bits. While carbide ratings vary across the industry and researching them is difficult, you can be assured our carbide will provide you with long-lasting quality results. In addition to high-quality carbide, attaching the carbide to the bit base and finishing the carbide edge is of up most importance for a precision router bit. The production process uses BAG(Ag25%) solder to secure the carbide to the bit resulting in a near-perfect weld. Additionally, the carbide cutting edge is ground using the latest high-tech diamond grinding wheel process.
